German Restaurants in Golden, Colorado
Golden, Colorado, is best known today as the birthplace of Coors Beer. The brewery was founded in 1873 by Adolph Coors, an immigrant from Wuppertal, Germany. The legacy of Coors and other German settlers lives on in Golden's German restaurants. Work up an appetite for hearty German fare by hiking in nearby Golden Gate Canyon State Park, which features 35 miles of hiking trails. Or test your kayaking skills at Clear Creek Whitewater Park.
