Indianapolis, Indiana Hotels
Indianapolis is the capital city of the state of Indiana and home to the Indy 500 motor racing event. Over the last decade, the city has undergone a downtown renaissance that involved restoration of historic housing and retrofitting of classically styled office buildings. A number of the structures were placed on the National Register of Historic Places and state architectural registries. Lodging in Indianapolis runs the gamut from vintage B&B to modern high-rise hotels.
