Kid-Friendly Hotels in Puerto Rico
A vacation to Puerto Rico offers enjoyable activities for all members of the family. Historical attractions entertain and educate both young and old. Three hundred miles of beach provide ample area for fun in the sun. In addition, Puerto Rico features a large tropical rainforest, an ancient system of caves to explore, and a unique dry forest filled with cactus. An abundance of child-friendly hotels are available to make a family vacation in Puerto Rico even better.

Caribe Hilton

The Caribe Hilton offers a free Kidz Paradise, a club with free recreational programs for children 12 and under from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Here, kids may play with the available games and toys, and participate in supervised sports and fun on the beach. A day camp, Camp Coco, is offered to guests staying during holidays and summer months, in which parents may leave their children (ages 4 to 16) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Babysitting services for children under five are available at an additional cost. Also at the Caribe Hilton are an arcade, bicycle rentals, tennis courts, gym and water sports rentals. Children under 18 stay free at the Caribe Hilton. Meals for kids under five are free, and kids ages five to twelve can receive discounted meals.

El Conquistador Resort & Golden Door Spa

The El Conquistador Resort & Golden Door Spa offers Camp Coquí to children ages 4 to 12. This supervised recreational program allows parents to drop their children off at the resort's main pool, where a free water taxi transports children to Palomino Island. Here, kids can participate in water sports and nature hikes. Camp Coquí is offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $75 per child, including lunch and snacks. (Nighttime hours from 6 p.m. to midnight are also available at the camp for $95 per child including dinner and snacks).

InterContinental San Juan Resort

The InterContinental San Juan Resort offers Planet Trekkers, a supervised club for children ages 4 to 12 that includes indoor and outdoor activities like scavenger hunts, sand castle building, beach Olympics, arts and crafts, and salsa dancing. Kids in Planet Trekkers are also educated about ecology and saving endangered species. The program runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for $65 per child (including lunch). On Fridays and Saturdays, an additional program is offered from 6 p.m to midnight for $65 per child (including dinner and snacks).
