Since its opening in 2006, Water Park of America in the Radisson Hotel has been delighting families with fun-filled features such as the only flow rider surf simulator in the state and 12 exciting slides. This indoor water park spans 90 feet above the Minnesota skyline and affords hours of enjoyment as patrons catch a wave in the Lake Superior wave pool or float along the mile-long,10-story family raft ride. The hoops, nets and balancing logs in the activity pools provide tons of amusement as children test their skill. A play area will keep smaller kids engaged with climbing, sliding and fun activities. Guests staying at the Radisson Hotel will find free high-speed Internet access, microwaves and mini refrigerators in their rooms. Amenities include a spa, two dining options and a 5,800-square-foot arcade.

Wild Woods Waterpark

Accessible from the Holiday Inn Hotel in Elk River, Minnesota, Wild Woods Waterpark offers visitors a 30,000-square-foot indoor venue with a lazy river, an activity pool, a water basketball court and a zero-depth entry play area for younger children. An array of body, tube and bowl slides provide action-filled enjoyment. Hotel rooms feature microwaves, mini refrigerators, wireless Internet connection and complimentary daily newspapers. Accommodations include admission for four people with the option of purchasing up to four more wristbands. The water park is open daily in the summer and on school breaks. Non-hotel patrons can visit the park every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Depot Water Park

Located in downtown Minneapolis, the Depot Water Park offers a three-story indoor/outdoor water slide that spans 185 feet, a splash fountain and a whirlpool for hours of enjoyment for families of all ages. The 15,000-square-foot interior space also houses an indoor observation deck, a video arcade and private sections for parties or gatherings. A snack bar serves pizza, hot dogs, ice cream and refreshments to keep hunger at bay. Guests can choose between two adjoining hotels, the Depot Minneapolis, a Renaissance hotel and the Residence Inn Minneapolis by Mariott. The Depot Minneapolis combines the historic charms of a 19th century train depot with the comforts of modern living. Rooms have premium bedding and flat-panel HDTVs with Wi-Fi access in lobby areas. The Residence Inn Minneapolis offers extended-stay amenities such as full kitchens and free high-speed Internet access. Water park packages with either hotel include admission for four guests with additional passes available for purchase.
