According to Matt Longman, manager of Café Campagne, the Ouefs-en meurette is the most popular brunch dish at the Zagat-rated bohemian French bistro. Poached eggs on traditional garlic French croutons with pearl onions and a red wine foie fras butter sauce will temporarily transport you to Paris. The croutons are one-inch sliced triangles lightly fried in oil and vinegar. It's served with the city's most famous pommes frîtes. As of November 2009, brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Reservations accepted.

Seattle's Scandinavian neighborhood is home to Hatties Hat. This is home to the best and stiffest Bloody Mary in Seattle. Mae's Phinney Ridge Café

Since the 1920s, this homey breakfast joint has been a hopping Seattle hang-out. Mae's serves ample-sized portions of comfort food. Dive into "Spudfest," a heaping plate of potatoes, topped with cheese, sour crème and salsa. Sink your teeth into a king-size, piping hot cinnamon roll with a cup of home roasted java.
