Paradise Island is located in the Bahamas as part of New Providence Island. It shares that island with Nassau. The two destinations are separated by a bridge. They also share a wide abundance of land and water activities. Paradise Island's most famous accommodation for enjoying these activities is the Atlantis Resort. Atlantis Resort & Casino Paradise Island

It is nearly impossible to run out of things to do at the huge complex that encompasses the Atlantis resort. Dolphin Cay is the hotel's own dolphin habitat that spans 14 acres and offers interaction with dolphins, sea lions and mantas. Atlantis also has a water park full of slides and rides, and keeping fit at Atlantis is easy with 12 different climbing surfaces for rock climbing, golf, tennis a huge fitness center and the Atlantis Speedway.

Comfort Suites Paradise Island

The Comfort Suites Paradise Island is within walking distance of the Atlantis Resort. Though it does not have quite as many amenities, it offers its guests full use of the facilities at Atlantis for less cost. At the Comfort Suites, guests have an outdoor pool for laps, or they can walk down to Bay Street where there are many shops and restaurants. The hotel has both rooms and suites.

Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island

The Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island is an all-inclusive resort where meals, drinks and activities are included in the price of the hotel. A swimming pool, spa and gym with a Jacuzzi are at the Riu Palace, as well as table tennis and beach volleyball. Water sports and golf are offered nearby. The hotel has five restaurants and four bars, including a sports bar and a swim-up pool bar.

Best Western Bay View Suites

The Best Western Bay View Suites is located near Hartford Beach and the Marina Village, where golf and water activities are available. The hotel has three swimming pools of its own. There also is a restaurant and a poolside bar on the premises. The Best Western Bay View Suites, which is set among tropical gardens, offers suites with fully equipped kitchens as well as separate living rooms.

Paradise Island Harbour Resort

The Paradise Island Harbour Resort is part of the Driftwood Hospitality Group, which also owns the nearby Nassau Palm Hotel. Unlike the Palm, this resort is all-inclusive, with drinks, meals and snacks available to guests at no extra charge. Also included are snorkeling in the resort's own lagoon, mountain biking, tennis, basketball, tetherball and volleyball. Be aware that the Paradise Island Harbour resort also has children's programs and is a spring break destination for college students.
