Herkimer is a village in New York's Herkimer County. It is 10 minutes from Utica (home of the National Distance Running Hall of Fame). Herkimer is a pleasant stop on journeys into the Adirondacks for hiking, climbing or other regional outdoor sports. Alongside the Erie Canal Marina and Mohawk River, Herkimer also provides great access to area waterways. The views are more scenic and the atmosphere more quiet, without much sacrifice in convenience. The motel has been part of the community for over 20 years, and the owners provide personal 24-hour service. From the serene countryside, they are ready and willing to help you find your way throughout the region. Depending on the season, cross-country, water and ice sport participants will find simple comfort with the Glen Ridge as a home base.

Bellinger Rose Bed & Breakfast

Located a mile from the Mohawk River, Bellinger Rose Bed & Breakfast is a comfortable alternative that is also convenient to Baker's Beach and the diamond mines. This 1865 Victorian property also houses Christyl Touch Massage, which offers Swedish and deep tissue massages, craniosacral therapies and trigger point.
