There are two rivers that flow through the city of Columbus, Ohio: the Scioto River and the Olentangy State Scenic River. The two join up in downtown. The O'Shaughnessy Reservoir, Alum Creek Lake and Hoover Reservoir are all just north of Columbus and are places for fishing, boating, kayaking and rafting. The local restaurants in Columbus provide a relaxing night on the town after a day of physical activity.

Old Mohawk

The Old Mohawk Restaurant is in Old German Village and has been in business since 1933, right at the end of prohibition. The menu includes bratwurst, fish and chips, veggie paella, smoked chicken ravioli, and baked mac and cheese. Prices in 2009 ranged from about $9.99 to $12.49.

Cameron's American Bistro

Cameron's American Bistro is a modern restaurant that features dishes from other parts of the country. The restaurant is available for private parties of up to 90 during lunch hours.
