Gala Manor

If you are looking for fresh dim sum, you should check out the Gala Manor. Whether you are eating alone, in a group of adults or with children, the Gala Manor will not fail to please. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a spacoius building and has a relaxed atmosphere. The food is high quality.You can choose dim sum which is on special offer during the week (small, medium and large all $1.50) or the dinner menu including slat and pepper squid, lobster, Peking pork chop and sweet and sour fish, menu items start at only $4. Beer and wine are also served. The restaurant has wheelchair accessibility and a parking lot on the street. Some diners resent the fact that the tip is included in the bill.

King Yum

The King Yum is a lively restaurant with vibrant décor and delicious food. It has a great menu inclduing mandarin and Polynesian duck, hoisin chicken, Mongolian steak and king yum roast pork. Dishes are reasonably priced and the restaurant also offers a wide range of exotic drinks. Appetizers start at $1.75 and entrees start at $8.20. The King Yum also hosts karaoke on Wednesday and Friday nights. Its opening hours are Monday -- Thursday 11.30 A.M. -11.30 P.M. Friday and Saturday 11.30 A.M. -- 12.30 A.M. and Sunday 12.00 P.M. -- 11.30 P.M.

The Little Pepper

The Little Pepper is a sichuan style restaurant in the heart of Flushing. While the interior décor might not be much to look at, don't let it put you off the menu. The excellent main course dishes include squid with pickled pepper, shredded pork with sweet bean sauce, lamb with scallion and bullfrog with sichuan pickled hot pepper. There is also a wide range of mouth-watering appetizers and vegetarian dishes as well as several tasty braised dishes to choose from. Main course dishes start at $5.95.The Little Pepper's hours are Monday-Friday 11:00 A.M.-10:30 P.M. and Saturday and Sunday 11:00 A.M.-11:00 P.M.
