Chinatown Hotels in Washington, DC
Located in the heart of Washington, DC, Chinatown is a small historic neighborhood with plenty of culture and nightlife. In the 1990s, this region underwent a major revitalization that ushered in new restaurants, shops and the Verizon Center; home of the Washington Wizards and Capitals. Although Chinatown is an urban area, the National Mall is only a few blocks away for running; and Rock Creek Park is accessible via bus for hiking.

Trendy and hip, the Hotel Monaco offers excellent service and a sophisticated decor for its guests. The hotel itself is located in a stunning all-marble building, which was designed by the same architects who worked on the U.S. Capitol and the Washington Monument. Along with its pet-friendly policy, the hotel also provides a "companion goldfish" to stay in your room upon request. Room rates start at $169 per night, but can reach over $1000 for a suite.

The Hampton Inn is another affordable hotel in the Chinatown area. As its name suggests, the Inn is located two blocks from the Washington Convention Center, which makes it a popular option for visitors attending an event there, Each room features a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and a laptop safe. The hotel also provides an exercise room and an indoor pool for guests who wish to jog or swim before they head out into the city. Prices start around $95 per night.
