Tucson Extended Stay Hotels

Tucson Extended Stay Hotels
Encircled by one national and three mountain parks, the southeastern Arizona city of Tucson's location, desert climate and clear air invite outdoor activity. Tucson is known for its in-city cycling opportunities. Mountain biking paths abound in Saguaro National Park, as do hiking paths.
Hikers flock to Tucson Mountain Park and Sabino Canyon with its natural waterfall-fed swimming pools. Booking accommodations at a Tucson extended-stay hotel will give you time to explore them all.

The Big Blue House

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and once owned by singer Linda Ronstadt's family, the authentically restored Big Blue House dates to 1899. Each of its professionally decorated seven rooms or suites has hardwood floors, a full bath and kitchen or kitchenette, antiques, and all the latest technology. Management will stock your kitchen with breakfast goodies on the house.

You'll have a work desk with Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Relax with your big screen LCD TV with a choice of 300 channels, or grab a rocking chair and a good book for a quiet read in the shade of the deep porch. The porch gets plenty of morning sun, so it''s a great place to have your a.m. coffee and plan your day.

The Big Blue House is a short stroll or bike ride from Tucson's cultural, restaurant and retail district on Fourth Avenue, and the University of Arizona is only eight blocks away.

Check-in is from 3 to 6 p.m but arranging for another time is possible. Pets are allowed but only in the separate Cottage Suite.
