After dinner, relax and enjoy an old fashioned carriage ride while looking at the stars or explore the popular Nicollet Island Park located right by the restaurant.

Al Vento

After a day of intense skiing, Al Vento is the perfect meal to warm up with. Chef Jonathan Hunt opened this southern Minneapolis Italian restaurant after he realized his love for Italian cooking. This quaint, cozy white tablecloth restaurant creates a warm feel with the low lighting and candlelight. The golden glow creates a welcoming and soothing ambiance. Al Vento has a moderately priced menu with a variety of popular Italian foods. From basil pesto and roma tomate, to red potate with spinach Gorgonzola pizza, or try some of the jumbo scallops. Your mouth will water from the delicious aroma. Don't forget to leave room for the chocolate oblivion or a glass of your favorite vino for dessert.

Cave Vin

Cave Vin is one of the few French restaurants that can be found in Minneapolis. Stepping into Cave Vin is like taking a step into Provence. This dimly lit restaurant serves everything you would see being served in Paris: from plump escargot steak tartare, to ravioli printemps and pan roasted halibut. With an impressive wine list that lists wines from countries all over the world, Cave Vin is an idyllic restaurant for a date night after a day of boating and hiking.
