Two Stars -- Days Inn Charlotte Center City

The Days Inn is located near the Charlotte Bobcats' arena. Each room comes equipped with a microwave and wireless internet access. Breakfast is complimentary and coffee is served in the lobby. Some pets may be allowed to lodge with their owners. Guests must pay a $6 per day parking surcharge. The AARP member discount is 10 percent.

Three Stars -- Residence Inn by Marriott

The Residence Inn is located south of Downtown Charlotte near SouthPark Mall. It is a pet-friendly hotel that offers free wireless Internet access. Pets are charged a special fee.
