Fort Garry is the name of an historic fort in Winnipeg, Canada. The history of the structure dates back to the early 19th century, when the Hudson Bay Company built a trading post on the land. The area is now best known for the upscale and expensive Fort Garry Hotel, as well as the attractions nearby, such as the annual Manitoba triathlon.
