You can travel the picturesque 10 miles of River Park along the shores of the Arkansas River either by walking, jogging or on bike, stroll through thousands of varieties of flowers and more at the Tulsa Garden Center, or browse through American Indian art at the Gilcrease Museum. There are several hotels in Tulsa that welcome pets.

The Sleep Inn offers free transport to the airport as well as free coffee and continental breakfast. For relaxation, there is an indoor pool and Jacuzzi as well as a sauna. There also is a fitness center and a business center, and faxing and copying services are provided. As of November 2009, rooms start at $75 a night. Dogs less than 15 pounds are welcome for a $25 nightly fee. Cats are not allowed.
