Country Inn & Suites

Located along Route 9, the major road running through Queensbury, Country Inn & Suites is a three-story hotel with more than 80 rooms. It features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an exercise room and a small dining area. The lobby is designed to look like an Adirondack lodge. With discounts, it is often possible to book a room for less than $100 a night.

Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Water Park

The Great Escape Lodge is a luxury hotel across the street from the Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom amusement park. If you're just looking for a place to crash before hitting the trails, the Great Escape Lodge might be more than you need. If you're looking for a nice spot to stash the family while you explore the outdoors, however, it may be the perfect place. The Great Escape Lodge offers suite-style rooms and features an indoor waterpark, a gameroom, an on-site Johnny Rockets diner, an exercise room and gift shops. Depending on the season, rooms could cost a few hundred dollars a night.

Red Roof Inn

The Queensbury Red Roof Inn is a two-story motel located along Route 9. Rooms have microwaves and refrigerators and free wireless Internet access. The motel is pet-friendly, which is a plus if you want to bring a furry companion along with you on the trails. The Red Roof Inn will suit the budget-conscious traveler, and rooms can often be booked for $50 to $75 per night.

Sleep Inn

Sleep Inn is a three-story hotel located just a few doors from the Red Roof Inn. It offers a small indoor pool, an eating area and an exercise room. There is free wireless Internet throughout the hotel, and you can even boot up your laptop in front of the fireplace in the main lobby. The hotel is reasonably priced and it is possible to book a room for around $100 a night.
