Greenville is a small (around 800 residents, according to the U.S. Census Report) town in north-central Florida, not far from Tallahassee, Florida and Valdosta, Georgia. The town is best known as the boyhood home of musician, Ray Charles. Greenville is also a good base for exploring the region's many lakes, the 100-mile bike loop and several African-American landmarks.
