Geocaching is a relatively new outdoor recreational activity that involves following a series of clues and GPS coordinates to find hidden caches. The caches may contain markers, items with which to trade or even prizes. To locate these caches, individuals use a hand held GPS unit to plot the points, track and locate the caches. Among the variety of available units there are some features that stand out and are more useful than others for geocaching.

With a rubberized and tough external antenna, this unit quickly locates multiple satellites, locks on and stays locked even under difficult conditions such as heavy cloud cover and foliage. The 60CSx has a large full color screen that is easily viewed even in bright sun light. This is an excellent high-end unit which should certainly be considered by those who have a passion for geocaching.
