Key West is a small island with a great deal of history. It offers the visitor a wide variety of water sports from swimming to parasailing to deep sea fishing. The nightlife on Duval Street and in the historic district is legendary. Many of the resorts here are smaller in keeping with the size of the island. They feature beautifully landscaped lots and secluded pools where the guest can get away from the excitement of Key West. The Southernmost on the Beach hotel has recently made a huge expansion of 80 rooms. The facility now offers 123 rooms with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
