Parkland Motel

The Parkland Motel is conveniently located near the Big South Fork National Recreational Area, within 90 miles of the Knoxville Airport, and just 1 mile from the Big South Fork Scenic Railway. The Blue Heron restaurant and the Stearns Golf course is located just 2 miles from the Parkland Motel. The motel offers standard rooms, which include two queen beds or one king bed, with free HBO, wake-up service, and complimentary coffee available. The motel has a guest coin laundry, fax and copy services, pool, and snack machines located on-site. Small pets are allowed, handicapped accessible and non-smoking rooms are available, and senior and AARP discounts are available.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park

The Dupont Lodge in the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, a mere 24 minutes from Stearns, has 51 beautiful rooms with full amenities, including interior corridors renovated in 2006. The Dupont Lodge also has a beautiful observation deck overlooking the Cumberland River, which has a 60 ft. waterfall. Cumberland Falls State Resort has cottages dubbed the Woodland Rooms, with special accommodations adjacent to the lodge. There are one and two bedroom cottages and most have a fireplace, fully-furnished kitchens, full-sized appliances, a small refrigerator, wet bar, microwave, coffee pot, small porch with outdoor grill and high speed Internet connection. Cumberland Falls State Resort also has several campsites with water hook-ups and electricity, golf course, hiking trails, fishing, rafting, stables and much more.
