Hotels in Las Vegas Without Casinos

Bright lights, gambling, luxury hotels and glitz are the images many use to summarize the desert gambling mecca of Las Vegas. In recent years, the city has shifted its focus to pull in a wider range of visitors, including families and outdoor enthusiasts. In doing so, non-gaming hotels and resorts were developed to accommodate visitors who did not want gaming action in their hotel. Outdoor day trips from Las Vegas include Red Rock Canyon, the Valley of Fire, Mt. Charleston, Lake Mead/Hoover Dam, Zion and Bryce Canyons, and the Grand Canyon. Many of these excursions contain scenic drives, hikes, trail rides, whitewater rafting and canoeing. At the end of the excursion, comfort, rest and relaxation is waiting in one of the following nearby hotels and resorts.
