Go Hiking
Consider taking to the trail. Seminole State Forest, located close to Orlando, is laced with a network of trails and is a great singles activity. The forest is home to a wide variety of natural communities, from blackwater streams to flatwoods to bottomland forests, not to mention most of the fauna of central Florida (including the eastern indigo snake and the Florida black bear).

Go Diving
Consider signing up for diving classes. It's a great way to meet people--and since dive classes typically entail at least half a dozen sessions, you really get to know your "classmates." Once you've become a certified SCUBA diver, you'll naturally want to dive with other certified divers--like the people you've just gotten to know from you class. There are plenty of great dive spots around Orlando, including several lakes and springs. Or take a short road trip to the ocean.
