Sioux Falls is the largest city in South Dakota and has an abundance of outdoor activities. Falls Park along the Big Sioux River presents the history of American Indians against the backdrop of beautiful waterfalls. Biking and hiking trails in the park connect to 20 miles of the Big Sioux River Recreation Trail and Greenway. Great Bear Recreation Park has skiing, snowmobiling and tubing in the winter and hiking trails in the summer. Accommodations range from small motels to large chain hotels with all the amenities.

Sheraton Sioux Falls

Sheraton Sioux Falls is a large six-story hotel attached to the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The hotel has a botanical atrium and two indoor waterfalls in its lobby--a replication of nearby Falls Park. The hotel has many amenities including a fitness center, indoor heated pool and sauna, whirlpool, high-speed Internet access and babysitting services. The hotel has more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space and is two miles from downtown.

Holiday Inn City Centre is located in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls next to many of the city's most popular attractions.
