The Cypria is a newly renovated three-star hotel in the heart of Athens. It is situated only a few blocks from Syntagma Square, and about half a block from the Ermou shopping district. A smaller C-class hotel located near the center of Athens, the Attalos was completely renovated in December 2003. All the freshly decorated rooms come with air conditioning and central heating, soundproof windows and satellite TVs. The hotel is located next to the Monastiraki Flea Market as well as the Metro Station. It is within a five-minute walk to the Acropolis, and a block from Psiri, a trendy part of the city with cafes and restaurants. There is also a rooftop café with a spectacular view of the Parthenon. Several walking tours of the city are available, as are nearby Voula Beach for water sports, golf, bike and running trails.
