Nimmo Bay Resort

Nimmo Bay Resort is a great place for adventure vacationing. Nimmo offers helicopter fishing and adventure expeditions. All fishing at Nimmo Bay is catch-and-release in an effort to preserve the beauty and wildlife of British Columbia. After a day full of adventure, the Nimmo's spa is a great place to relax sore muscles. This small resort can accommodate up to 18 people at a time in nine different chalets. Each chalet consists of two bedrooms, one bathroom and a living room that all have a scenic view of the surrounding nature. Nimmo Bay is only accessible by helicopter that picks guests up in Port Hardy for a 25-minute flight. Four day/four night packages start around $5,000 USD.

The Fairmont Tremblant Resort

The Fairmont Tremblant Resort is 78 miles from Montreal, at the foot of the beautiful Laurentian Mountains. Chair lifts and gondolas are available for skiing. The two 18-hole golf courses, available during the spring and summer, offer plenty of play time for the golf enthusiasts. The Fairmont Tremblant Resort also offers a 15-room spa with a full range of spa treatments. Along with a health club, the Fairmont also offers a heated pool for year-round swimming. The Fairmont boasts 316 rooms on seven floors, including 62 suites. Rates vary by season, but during peak season run about $150 USD and during off season about $95 USD (as of 2009).
