Plaza on the River
At one end of Reno's River Walk and just a short walk from Reno's Whitewater Park, which offers whitewater rafting tours and kayak rentals, Plaza on the River is a quaint hotel overlooking the Truckee River. Though it's located in the entertainment district, the Plaza has no on-site gaming venue like most Reno hotels, making it a perfect respite if you want to get away from the gambling scene.
All rooms at Plaza on the River include cable TV, free wireless Internet, a microwave and refrigerator. Upgraded rooms include whirlpool bathtubs and full kitchens.

Ross Manor
The family-owned and operated Ross Manor offers both apartments and residential hotel rooms. Only one street over from the Truckee River and a walk away from Reno's gaming venues, it's the perfect place to explore all aspects of the city. There are weekly and monthly rates for those wishing to spend an extended period at Ross Manor, but, just like a traditional hotel, the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day.
Basin units are provided for those who don't mind sharing a bathroom with other guests, and kitchen rooms are available for those who want to cook on-site.

Siena Hotel Spa Casino
Reno's only truly boutique hotel, the Siena Hotel Spa Casino is located right on the bank of the Truckee River and is appointed with Italian flair throughout. Features include a 24-hour on-site casino, a day spa and three on-site restaurants.
The Siena's 23,000-square-foot casino boasts a design scheme meant to mimic the Tuscan countryside, including touches such as stone pillars and archways. The Spa at Siena offers eleven therapy rooms for massages, facials and manicures, as well as a whirlpool tub. For on-site dining, you can eat in any one of the Siena Hotel's three restaurants, including Lexie's on the River, which offers a perfect view of the Truckee River.
