Through the years, more than 630 plant and animal species have been documented here, along with multiple varieties of oak trees, some more than 500 years old.

Play Disc Golf

The Audubon Park Disc Golf Course presents outdoor fun for the entire family. Although patrons can play the game with a regular Frisbee, Audubon Recreation Center also provides sets of weighted discs ideal for the course. Similar to golf, the game involves the tossing of a disc from a tee pad to a basket on a pole. The course is open daily to the public.

Get Wet at a Water Park

Unveiling six acres of water attractions, Hawaiian Falls Water Park features three different parks: Firewheel, the Colony and Mansfield. Among the attractions are wave pools, water slides, swimming pools, beaches, islands and inner tube rides. Open only during the summer months, the water park presents an excellent destination for families to cool off in the hot Texas sun.
