Silver Spring borders Washington, D.C., making the nation's capital easily accessible to hotel guests staying in the area. Buses and the Metro trains run from Silver Spring to Washington, D.C., daily. Silver Spring has been revitalized and offers many restaurants, shops and parks. Silver Spring provides easy access to Rock Creek Park, which has paths throughout Maryland and D.C. There are eight hotels in the downtown Silver Spring area. Other options are available in the greater Silver Spring area as well.
