Famous Things in New York City
New York City is one of the most populated cities in the United States. It is along the Atlantic Ocean and features some of the most visited places in the United States. There are five boroughs within the city: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island.

Central Park

Central Park is the largest city park in the United States and is also the most visited. It is in Manhattan on 843 acres and features the Central Park Zoo and Conservatory, two ice skating rinks, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts and trails for hiking, biking and rollerblading. There are also baseball fields, playgrounds and fountains.

Empire State Building

The Empire State building was the world's tallest building from 1931 to 1973 and is still the tallest building in New York City and New York state. It is 102 stories high and houses corporate offices as well as an observation tower on the top floor. It is notable for being the third-tallest building in the United States and the 15th-tallest building in the world.
