Raleigh County Memorial Airport is situated in Beckley County in south West Virginia's New River Gorge region. Airports Near Eastern West Virginia with Commercial Service
There are no airports with commercial airline flights in the eastern portion of the state. But, you can get to the Appalachian Trail in Harpers Ferry at the easternmost section of West Virginia. Fly into BWI Airport in Maryland, Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., or Washington-Dulles Airport in Virginia then rent a car for the 1- to 2-hour trip to Harper's Ferry.
