Famous Vegas Hotels

Famous Vegas Hotels
Las Vegas is internationally known as the partying capital of the United States. If you're looking for a chance to wind down and skip the daily workout for a while, there's no place better than Las Vegas. Sit by the pool, sip a cocktail and get away from it all at famous hotels that you may have seen on television or in your favorite movies.

Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace, owned by Harrah's Entertainment, is located in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, on the west side. The enormous hotel and casino features five towers and impeccable outdoor landscapes. Caesars Palace is no stranger to celebrity, as Celine Dion, Elton John, Diana Ross, Cher, Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra have all performed there. Caesars Palace was also featured in movies such as "Ocean's 11," "Rain Man," "Iron Man" and as the main filming location in "The Hangover." Caesars Palace is a stunning, well-maintained hotel that will place you in the lap of luxury, at least for a few days.

Circus Circus

Circus Circus may not make you feel like royalty in the same way Caesars Palace does. It is a grittier, old-feeling hotel with an emphasis on circus games and shows for children. But the eccentric decor and the fact that it has the largest big top in the world, has put Circus Circus on the map, most notably in the book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" by Hunter S. Thompson. Circus Circus is not featured in the movie version, however, due to the film being unable to get permission to use the casino. Circus Circus has been featured in other films, including "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery," and the James Bond movie "Diamonds are Forever."

Palms Casino Resort

The Palms Casino Resort is a chic accommodation located just off the Las Vegas strip. The Palms is the home of the annual CineVegas festival, which shows world premieres of some of Hollywood's most popular movies, including "The Cider House Rules" and "Ocean's Thirteen." The Palms was also the home of the cast of "The Real World: Las Vegas," a pivotal season revealing more promiscuity among cast members than in earlier years. The suite that was featured on TV as the cast's dwelling is available for guest reservations.
