Memphis International Airport is served by six airlines with direct flights from all major U.S. cities and international connections to destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean. The city serves as a transport hub for Delta Airlines, so if flexibility of scheduling is your major concern, Delta is a good place to start. All air service frequencies listed here are based on timetables for the year-end 2009.

Delta/Northwest/KLM Airlines

Memphis is a center of U.S. operations for Delta Airlines; its subsidiary, Northwest Airlines, and partner, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and NW-coded flights make up by far the largest number of arrivals.

Frequent daily flights arrive direct from 83 U.S. cities, along with two international services from Montego Bay, Jamaica (twice daily), and Nassau, Bahamas (daily).

American Airlines

This major airline gives Delta some stiff competition, with 60 weekly flights from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and 26 weekly flights from O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois.

Twice-daily flights arrive from Miami, Florida, and daily flights arrive from Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mcallen/Mission, Texas. Each week Memphis International Airport is served with a further six flights from Tucson, Arizona, two from Palm Springs, California, and one from El Paso, Texas. An international flight arrives twice daily from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
