Top Resorts in Maui, Hawaii
Visitors to Maui may be surprised to discover that there are a number of top rated resorts located there, such as the Four Seasons. Fronting one of the best beaches in Maui, Wailea Beach, the Four Seasons Resort features 380 rooms, two swimming pools plus a keiki (kids) pool and two spa tubs. In addition, the resort also has a day spa, two lighted tennis courts, three different restaurants, five shops and a 24-hour business center. Rooms range from mountainside with a marble bathroom and deep soaking tub, all the way to the club floor executive suite. Amenities available to all guests include twice daily housekeeping, L'Occitane bath products and a beach tote. Poolside amenities include chilled towels, frozen fruit and Evian spritz. Free scuba demo's and snorkel gear are also available to guests.

Fairmont Kea Lani

The 22 acre Fairmont Kea Lani is situated in front of Polo Beach in Wailea. The resort has 450 "rooms" which consist of either suites or villas. In addition, the resort has two swimming pools, a keiki pool with a 140 foot slide, two spa tubs as well as a day spa for true relaxation. Guests also have the choice of eating at any one of the five restaurants on-site. One bedroom suites include a living room, large master bedroom, a marble bathroom and a private lanai. Those with families should take advantage of the children's activity center available for children from 5 to 13 years old. In addition to arts and crafts, children will also learn more about Hawaiian culture.

Sheraton Maui

The Sheraton Maui is located in Kaanapali right in front of Black Rock on Kaanapali Beach. Kaanapali Beach is one of the finest beaches in Maui, with clear waters that offer spectacular snorkeling around Black Rock. The Sheraton Maui has 510 rooms and the resort has a swimming pool, a keiki pool, a fitness center, three tennis courts, a small day spa and two restaurants. Every evening the resort has a torch lighting ceremony along Black Rock which finishes with the torch bearer leaping off of Black Rock into the water. This is said to be a reenactment of King Kahekili who showed his bravery to his people by leaping off Black Rock. All rooms at the Sheraton Maui have a private lanai and range from garden view rooms all the way to Alii (royal) suites.
