Lombardi's Pizza
Lombardi's Pizza, a more casual choice than Babbo, is arguably the most historic pizza restaurant in New York City, and maybe the entire United States. Lombardi's, opened by Italian immigrant Gennaro Lombardi in 1897, is the first pizzeria in the United States, and the creator of New York style pizza. Although the restaurant has moved down the street from its original location, the pizza is the same. Lombardi's features outrageous toppings such as meatballs and clams, but you can also get a plain pie if you'd rather have a more traditional experience.

Becco
Becco, located in the heart of Times Square in New York's historic Restaurant Row, was opened by Chef Lidia Bastianich, best known as the host of several PBS cooking shows. Bastianich and her son, Joseph, opened Becco in 1993, and although you most likely won't see Lidia walking around the restaurant, she has created a comfortable dining experience with delicious food. Come for lunch and experience the all-you-can-eat pasta menu, or stop for dinner and enjoy some of Becco's signature dishes, such as Trancio di Salmone and Peperoni Ripieni.
