Disney owns roughly 23 resorts, with several possessing different types of lodging such as hotel rooms and villa rental.

Campsites and Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

One of the original resorts, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort opened in 1971 and continues to bring the Disney magic to the most rustic form of accommodations---the campground. Fort Wilderness offers four types of campsites---tent/pop-up campsite, full hook-up campsite, preferred hook-up campsite and premium campsite. All sites offer a minimum of privacy, water, cable television and electrical hook-ups, a picnic table and a charcoal grill. Sewer hook-ups are available with all campsites, with the exception of tent/pop-up campsites. For those who like a bit more comfort, the Fort Wilderness Resort also offers cabins, which sleep up to six individuals. At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, the rustic log cabins, nestled among the trees, are like a home away from home. The campsites and cabins share the same activities, similar scenery and the same theme. The property, on 700 acres, hosts a variety of all-American activities like a barbecue, sing-along and hoedown with your favorite Disney characters.
