Marriott International
The Marriott International is a hotel chain that is owned by J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott. It got its start from a simple root beer stand in Washington, DC, in 1927. From there, the Marriotts went on to build one of the largest hotel chains in the United States and across the world. There are currently more than 2,200 Marriotts across the United States today, with locations in 66 other countries. The Marriott hotels go by names such as The Courtyard, Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance Hotels and the Fairfield Inn. Each hotel features many amenities for the fitness conscious, such as pools, fully equipped fitness centers, saunas and hot tubs along with high-speed Internet service and gift shops.

Hilton Hotels Corp.
Hilton is one of the most notable hotel chains in the United States. The hotels began in 1919 by Conrad Hilton, who purchased his first hotel in Cisco, Texas. There are more than 500 hotels across the world, including the US. Hilton is known for its tagline of "Be Our Guest" and has made itself popular with the names of Waldorf=Astoria, Doubletree Hotel and the Hampton Inn. The Hilton chain has many luxury amenities, such as spa-like bathrooms in each hotel room.

Global Hyatt Corporation
The Hyatt chain is one of the newer hotel chains. The Hyatt was founded in 1957 by Jay Pritzker. Hyatt International was not formed until 1968. Hyatt is also known as the Grand Hyatt or Summerfield Suites. As of June 2009, there are 413 Hyatt properties. Each Hyatt room offers full service kitchenettes and Internet service, along with on-site swimming pools, fitness rooms and hot tubs
