Geneva State Park
Geneva State Park has 93 campsites, including some without electricity; some allow pets. The campsites have showers and flush toilets, a laundry and a fish cleaning facility. Campers can borrow games and sporting equipment from the office. Hikers and cross-country skiers can travel on six multiple use trails and two paved trails for bicycles.
Boating and Fishing
Three marinas at Geneva on the Lake village offer rental boats and ramps, gas and many rental docks. You can go for a sunset cruise or have a guide take you fishing; you'll need an Ohio fishing license for that endeavor. Two companies offer guarantees; you'll catch fish, or your trip is free. Eat a sandwich at the deli. Buy your bait at the convenience store. Get your fished cleaned by a professional. Be sure to carry along trash bags because you must carry out anything that you carry in.
Ferrante Winery

Ferrante Winery & Ristorante began operation in 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio; Peter Ferrante, Sr. moved the winery to its present location in Geneva in 1979. The winery is located on the Grand River near Lake Erie. Take a free tour of the winery on Saturdays and Sundays at set times; you don't need advance reservations. You can enjoy live entertainment on weekends. The restaurant offers a wide variety of Italian selections from Calamari Lemon Caper Alloli and pizza to pasta, veal scaloppini and tiramisu; it's open for lunch and dinner. Call ahead for hours and reservations.

Jennie Munger Gregory Memorial Museum
When you tire of outdoor activities, visit the Jenny Munger Gregory Memorial Museum in Geneva on the Lake. Lavish Victorian furniture graces the family's rooms, and you can learn about Ashtabula County history. Take a picnic lunch with you; however, if you're disabled, there is no wheelchair access. It's run by the Ashtabula County Historical Society.
