List of Year Round Campgrounds in Michigan

Kevin Dooley/Flikr

Michigan is the only state that has an upper and a lower peninsula. In the upper peninsula, Yoopers flourish with a culture and language that is their very own. Michiganders take the time to point out that theirs is the only state with two built-in maps: hold your hand vertically, and you see mitten shape of the lower peninsula; hold your hand sideways, and you have a reliable map of the U.P. Michigan is also home to four of the five Great Lakes. The fall colors in northern Michigan are so gorgeous that people come from other countries to see the trees ablaze with gold, russet and crimson.

Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort

Timber Ridge is located in northwest Michigan and is a popular location to view the fall colors.
