The Pearl, Norwegian's newest ship by PinkDispatcher/Flikr

Today's cruises are not what you may think. From luxury cruising to exciting adventure on the high seas, cruise lines are now offering much more than a small stateroom and a casino. Customized excursion packages that take you off the beaten path go hand in hand with gourmet dining, suites with ocean views, smaller ships and more personalized service. Some of the more specialized cruise lines feature exotic destinations and adventures. Many cruise lines offer deep discounts off their regular packages. Cruises to many different destinations depart from ports of call in Fort Lauderdale and Miami almost every day.

The Pearl

Jewel of the Norwegian Cruise lines, the Pearl, is Norwegian's newest addition to its fleet. The Pearl offers rock climbing, golf and even a bowling alley onboard. Dine in any one of her 12 freestyle restaurants and relax. She'll carry you safely from Miami to the Caribbean where you can enjoy Great Stirrup Cay, St. Thomas, Belize City and more on its eastern and western Caribbean Roundup voyages. Stay in the Garden Villa with its 5,000 square feet and private deck where you can swim in your private pool or just relax in the Jacuzzi. Enjoy two days, seven days or 14 of cruising and adventure, with many exciting shore excursions to join.

Seven Seas Voyager

Part of the Regent Seven Seas Cruise line, the Voyager lives up to her name. Cruises embarking from Fort Lauderdale will take you to the Far East, including Hong Kong. You will enjoy the local color in Capetown, South Africa, or sail majestically into Sydney Harbor where you can get a glimpse of life "down under." Sail on a 10-day round trip from Fort Lauderdale and while in Belize, take the Robinson Crusoe Jungle Survivor Adventure and see if you have what it takes to survive being lost in the jungle. Cruises range anywhere from seven to 135 days.
