Griffith Park

Griffith Park covers 4,107 acres, making it the the largest municipal park with an urban wilderness area in the United States. Guests looking for free outdoor activities can enjoy a picnic on one of the vast sprawling lawns or hike on one of many trails the park has to offer. Hiking through the Fern Dell area of the park enables guests to enjoy the lush peaceful surroundings filled with ferns and waterfalls.

Will Rogers Beach

Located on Pacific Coast Highway, Will Rogers Beach is a must-see for people who love outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy surfing, bicycling, swimming, volleyball and fishing on the beach. Lifeguards are on duty during daylight hours, and outdoor snack bars are located on the beach so guests can grab something to eat. Additionally, the beach has restrooms and showers for guests' convenience.

Grauman's Chinese Theater

For decades, Grauman's Chinese Theater has been one of the most popular free attractions in Los Angeles. People flock to Grauman's on a daily basis to admire the countless squares of concrete that are embedded with hand and footprints of famous Hollywood celebrities. Guests can pay tribute to stars of the past while viewing Marilyn Monroe's hand and footprints, an imprint of Betty Grable's legs and even the square where Groucho Marx left a print of his cigar. Countless celebrities head to Grauman's for various movie premieres and if lucky enough, guests may be able to see them walk the red carpet.

California Science Center
