Located in east central Wisconsin, Chilton is a small Midwestern town with tons of charm. Outdoor activities are a way of life, because it is in close proximity to several lakes and the Manitowoc River. Thunderbird Motel

This bargain-priced motel is located across from Klinkner Memorial Park, in the heart of Chilton. Family-owned, the Thunderbird Motel features 15 rooms, all of which come with cable, wireless Internet access. A select grouping of rooms include a microwave oven and small refrigerator. Pets are welcome, as long as any messes they make are taken care of promptly.

The Chilton House

Built in 1885, this large Victorian-style house accommodates up to eight people. It's located near Elkheart Lake and is available for daily, weekly or monthly rental. There are three bedrooms that come complete with linens. The kitchen is fully stocked and laundry facilities are available. You can relax in the sunroom or barbecue in the backyard on a gas grill.
