One of the best hotels located in the middle of all of the action is the Holiday Inn French Quarter. Dining within the hotel serves some of the best authentic Creole cuisine found in the city. The pool is heated and is three feet deep at its shallowest end and six feet deep at its deepest.

The Hilton New Orleans is located just 0.6 miles from downtown New Orleans. The hotel rooms offer two TVs with basic cable and Internet service. Wi-Fi also is available. The swimming pool is located downstairs but is very small. At best, the pool is no deeper than four feet all around but does have a large jacuzzi next to it.
