Deluxe Villa Resorts
Deluxe Villa resorts offer studios, 1-bedroom suites and 2-bedroom suites. These are the only on-property accommodations that will fit up to nine people. Suites have two bathrooms, a full kitchen area and a washer and dryer. There are multiple pool areas at each resort that follow theme and the main pool at each resort has a water slide. Some of the rooms at these resorts offer Epcot theme park views. Epcot area deluxe villa resorts include Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, Old Key West and Saratoga Springs Resort.
Deluxe Resort
Deluxe resorts offer everything that deluxe villa resorts do, but they do not accommodate as many people. The only non-villa Epcot area deluxe resort owned by Disney is the Yacht Club. The Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan are twin hotels on Disney property in the Epcot area, but they are owned by Westin. These hotels offer Extra Magic Hours, but do not participate in Disney promotions and cannot be used in a Disney package. They can be booked via the Disney website as a room only reservation.
Moderate Resorts
Moderate resorts offer themed properties that are more than your basic hotel room. Each room has a mini refrigerator, coffee maker and in-room safe. There are multiple pool areas at each resort that follow theme and the main pool at each resort has a water slide. Epcot area moderate resorts include Caribbean Beach Resort, Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter.
Value Resorts
Disney value resorts offer accommodations with detail-rich themes and Disney service at a budget price. Value resorts lack some amenities like a mini refrigerator, but one can be rented from the resort for a small daily fee. The only Epcot area value resort is Pop Century. It offers a building theme of popular culture in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. It has three pools (one that is flower-shaped, one that is bowling pin-shaped and one that is computer monitor-shaped,) but no water slide.
