Only one block from the ocean and boardwalk, the American Historic Inn Property and Preferred Inn of New Jersey was originally built in 1888 as the Grand Central Stables of Spring Lake. Offering 16 spacious guestrooms and suites, each room may feature all or a combination of luxury amenities such as an ocean view, fireplace, Jacuzzi, four-poster bed, sleigh bed, refrigerator or digital cable television. Generous breakfasts are served in the grand dining room each morning and the dining room is also the gathering spot for afternoon tea. After a fun day of beach activities or exploring the restaurants, shops and spa services located just a few blocks away, take advantage of the 80-foot Victorian porch to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The Victoria House

The Queen Anne-style inn featuring the original stained glass windows, Gothic shingles and gingerbread accents is an American Historic Inn Property and a Preferred Inn of New Jersey. Choose from two elegant suites, two deluxe rooms or four premium guest rooms as your home away from home. Refreshments are available all day in addition to a full gourmet breakfast, afternoon tea with fresh baked goods as well as after dinner cordials and chocolates. Other amenities include wireless Internet access, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, television, DVD, VCR, free movie rentals, health club passes and bicycles. Depending upon the season, beach tags, beach chairs, beach towels or gas fireplaces are available to guests. You will be within walking distance of old fashioned ice cream parlors, art galleries and scenic parks. The inn only uses environmentally friendly cleaning products.

The Sandpiper Inn

The historic Victorian home, a Preferred Inn of New Jersey, was originally built by the Spanish ambassador to the United States. Featuring 15 spacious guest rooms, most with ocean views, all of the rooms have large windows, air conditioning, cable television, refrigerators, an alarm clock, a hair dryer, telephone, iron and ironing board as well as a private modern bath with showers, a Jacuzzi or a bath tub and shower combination. The Black Trumpet Restaurant is located on the ground level of the inn, while the guest rooms are on the second, third and fourth floors. The second floor also features a large wrap around veranda with ocean views as well as a living room with a fireplace, wireless Internet access and a laptop available for guest use. Additional amenities include daily breakfast and use of bicycles as well as beach badges, beach towels and chairs during the summer season.
