Top Resorts on the Gold Coast in Australia
Australia's Gold Coast is a popular and unique holiday destination. The Gold Coast offers some of the best beaches in Australia, perfect for surfing and scuba diving, and is also a great place for whale watching. In addition, the area is popular for its many theme parks, including Sea World, which has its own resort. However, if you don't want to stay at a water park, you'll find many other excellent resorts along the Gold Coast.

Sea World Resort

Sea World Resort sits adjacent to the Sea World water park on the broadwater in Southport. The resort has more than 400 rooms, each with a patio or balcony. Rooms range from the superior room all the way to the royal suite. Amenities at the Sea World Resort include an outdoor pool, tennis courts, spa tub and fitness facility as well as a choice of four dining options. The adjacent water park features a whale watching boat cruise looking for migrating humpback whales as well as dolphin encounters and several shark encounters. Snorkelers should consider doing the tropical reef snorkel while scuba divers may be interested in the shark scuba encounter.
