The Gold Coast offers some of the best beaches in Australia, perfect for surfing and scuba diving, and is also a great place for whale watching. In addition, the area is popular for its many theme parks, including Sea World, which has its own resort. However, if you don't want to stay at a water park, you'll find many other excellent resorts along the Gold Coast.
