The Hotel Monaco, located in Chicago's Loop near Millennium Park, is a certified Green Seal Silver Hotel. Certified hotels meet environmental standards that include recycling, energy and water conservation, and socially responsible purchasing. The former hat factory-turned-hotel offers guests in-room spa treatments, complementary business services including Internet access, hosted wine service in the evening and tea and coffee service in the morning. Tall guests can request special rooms designed with extended ceilings and shower stalls. Pets are welcomed and receive a special travel package, but pet booking must be made at least five days prior to arrival.

Hotel Burnham

The historic four-star Hotel Burnham is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in recognition of the pioneering steel and glass modern design that first opened as the Reliance Building in 1895. The Burnham features an onsite fitness center that is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Its in-room spa services include massage as well as body and facial treatments using organic and paraben-free products. Round-the-clock room service is available in all rooms.

The Fairmont

The Fairmont is located near Grant and Millennium parks in the financial and business section of the city. Guests at the hotel have privileges at the nearby Lakeshore Athletic Club including spa facilities. The AAA and Mobil guides rank the hotel as a four-star establishment. The Fairmont offers special 15th floor accommodations for guests with allergies. The hypoallergenic rooms, called "PURE" rooms, must be specified when the reservation is made.
