The John Hancock Building
Visit the John Hancock Building's conservatory on the 94th floor. The view is something that has to be seen to believed. The Sears Tower used to be the popular place to see the city, but since the construction of the John Hancock Building in 1970, it has become the ideal place to view the city.

The Art Institute
Chicago offers the visitor several museums to visit, but the Art Institute is one place where one will see the arts of the world. The institute does require a full day to see everything. The hours of operation vary throughout the year, but it is open every day.

The Shiny Bean
Located in Millennium Park on the north end, the Shiny Bean, as many call it, is the work of Anish Kapoor. Its real name is Cloud Gate. Take at least 15 minutes to see this shiny silver sculpture. It has become a topic for everyone that visits Chicago. The bean is 33 feet high and weighs 110 tons.

Navy Pier
The historic part of Chicago is at the lakefront. Navy Pier is the No. 1 tourist attraction in the Chicago area. Enjoy shopping, dining and sightseeing at Navy Pier. The pier offers entertainment, fireworks (depending on when you visit) and rides. You could enjoy a boat ride around the lake or take a cruise and spend the entire day on the water.

House of Blues
A visit to Chicago is not complete until you stop at the House of Blues. Even those that are not partial to the blues have a good time. Since opening in 1996, the House of Blues has become the most popular music venue in the state. The establishment is in downtown Chicago close to the Westin Hotel.
