Farmer's Market

Downtown Anaheim is the location of a thriving farmer's market, offering live entertainment in addition to food, wine and recipes. Seasonal and Oriental vegetables, fresh fruit and herbs are available for purchase; food stalls will keep you fueled to shop; and diverse native crafts are on sale.

Yorba Regional Park

Yorba Regional Park encompasses 175 acres, including four lakes. Visitors can walk, run or skate the park trails or take a leisurely bike ride through the grounds. Share a family picnic, let the kids try the playground and then explore the nature trails and try to catch a glimpse of the local waterfowl. The park follows alongside the Santa Ana River, with nearby access to the Santa Ana River Trail.

Oak Canyon Nature Center

Oak Canyon Nature Center is surrounded by 58 acres of land, featuring a flowing stream, three canyons and four miles of hiking trails. View the butterfly garden, stop at the caves or take a self-guided nature tour along the Heritage Trail. Plant enthusiasts will want to see the preserved oak woodland and coastal sage scrub areas. Natural history and live animal displays can be viewed in the Collier Interpretive Center. Family programs and special events focus on fostering an appreciation of nature and interpreting local flora and fauna.

Deer Canyon Preserve Park

Deer Canyon Preserve Park is set among 103 wilderness acres. The park offers hiking and horse trails with many access points available. Take a day hike on the nature trails or picnic along the stream that runs through the park. Deer Canyon is located near Anaheim Hills Golf Course; the playground, ball courts and sports fields of Canyon Rim Park; and Walnut Canyon Reservoir, where a quiet, 2-mile jogging trail wraps around the water.
