Luxury Camping Ideas

Luxury Camping Ideas
Luxury camping is not necessarily a new concept, but has not had a name associated with it until recently. Luxury camping, or glamping, is simple to figure out. It is basically camping with some, if not all of the luxuries of home or resort hotels. Campers are looking for comfort and amenities to make the trip easier and less stressful than the typical, sleep on the ground, camping excursion. There are many ways to add luxury to your camping experience, with some being simple and others being costly.

Basic Camping with Comfort

If you are going on a basic camping trip, you can add a little luxury to the trip by bringing along the supplies for a gourmet dinner. This can help make your stay a little more special and glamorous. Another idea is to add a double inflatable mattress. These mattresses, once blown up, are practically as tall as a bed and just as comfortable. You will never realize you are anywhere near the ground.

RVs

RVs are like houses on wheels. By camping in one of these you will have all the comforts of home traveling with you whereever you go. Amenities include full working kitchens, bathrooms and showers, bedrooms, storage, and even TVs. Many RVs these days have pop out sections that expand once you have reached your camp site, giving you even more space on the inside. If you cannot afford one of these traveling houses, you can rent them for a comfortable camping vacation like no other.

Camping Resorts

Whether tent camping or driving an RV, you can add a ton of fun to your camping trip by staying at a camping resort such as Costanoa Coastal Lodge and Camp in Pescadero, Calif. These types of resorts have spas, fitness centers, swimming pools and restaurants. They have activities such as mountain biking, hiking, and canoeing as well as planned events and games for kids. These resorts take the worry and stress out of camping by providing all the necessities. All you have to do is show up.
