L'Hotel
L'Hotel is not just a hotel, but also a tourist destination. According to Prestigia travel services, "The iconic L'Hôtel was originally part of the palace of Queen Margot before being transformed into a Pavilion d'Amour (a pavilion of love) in the early 19th century." Famed author Oscar Wilde spent the last days of his life at L'Hotel in one of the uniquely decorated rooms. Now redecorated and named the world's best urban hotel by Harper's Bazaar in 2008, L'Hotel has become a mix of both the modern and traditional. Chef Philippe Belissent's Le Restaurant has earned one Michelin star, with reservations booked several months in advance.
